Two years ago today I landed in Sydney to start a new life with the man that had captured my heart just 10 weeks before.
Looking back on 2016, one of the biggest highlights, apart from getting engaged, was our trip to the UK, France and Hong Kong back in May. It was a huge trip incorporating Oliver’s younger brother’s wedding, introducing my fiancé to my friends and family and my first trip home since the move.
I’m turning 31 in a couple of days and I’m a little sad to see 30 go. Thirty has been truly life-changing. This time last year I was living in London and had travelled to Sydney to mark the occasion with a big trip. I had no idea what it had in store. Thirty – so many happy memories.
Despite the posters of the adorable French bulldog wearing an edible necklace that were plastered on London underground platforms all summer, I somehow managed to leave it to the closing weekend to visit the corresponding exhibition. My goodness am I glad I made it!
